The room is always available from 2 p.m. and must be vacated before 11 a.m.Arriving in Ostend a bit earlier? No problem — you can safely store your luggage in the free luggage room on the first floor.
It is possible to provide a baby bed in the room. The cost is €5 per night.A fold-out bed is also possible for children up to 12 years old (only in the double rooms with a view of the Wapenplein). The cost for this is €20 per night.We kindly ask you to let us know this in advance.
Our cleaning staff comes by daily to provide guests with fresh towels and bed linens (bed linens every three nights). The room is also tidied up. To reduce our environmental impact, we follow these guidelines:“Please wash my towels” → Please place them on the floor“I will use them again” → Simply leave them hanging on the towel rack
The entire hotel has free high-speed WiFi. (Hotel Ambassadeur Free Wifi – no password needed)
Pets are more than welcome, both in the hotel and the restaurant. We only ask for a supplement of €10 per night. Please also add your pet when making your reservation.
Parking is available at the public parking “Mijnplein.”
The hotel does not have a bicycle storage area.
The sauna is located on the 7th floor of the hotel and is completely private. There is also a shower room and towels available. You can reserve it at the reception half an hour before use.
For your convenience, the closest public parking is parking Mijnplein, only a 1-minute walk (100 meters) from the hotel. Please be aware that the hotel itself does not provide parking.
If you’re coming by train, you can take the coastal tram from Ostend station in the direction of De Panne. The tram stops right at our door at the “Marie-Joséplein” stop.You can also walk from the station — it’s only a 10-minute walk.
The hotel is located on the main square of Ostend, in the middle of many shopping streets. There are also plenty of tourist activities near the hotel, such as the Mercator ship, the casino/Kursaal, the Ensor Museum, Mu.ZEE, the Royal Galleries, the Japanese Garden, and of course, the beach.
Every Thursday and Saturday morning, there is a market on the Wapenplein. On Sunday mornings, there is a small flower market.During the summer months, aperitif concerts are regularly organized at the bandstand (during the day).In October, the fair is held on the square.
Every reservation must be paid in advance, and this can be done with Bancontact, Maestro, Visa, or Mastercard.
The city tax is 5 euros per room per night.
This is possible. We can print an invoice or send it by email. If the invoice needs to be issued in a company name, please request this upon arrival.
You can check in online using the email you will receive a few days beforehand.
